Religious Studies
This term has seen our RS Department welcoming ITT students again. They have been included within the training school activities as with all the other subjects.
In this session the students were asked to plan, prepare and deliver a lesson that utilised the internet. Last year we asked the students to create their own web pages but this year we tried to use suitable resources that could be found on the internet. This left more time to think about lesson planning and classroom management and to examine how the use of ICT supported subject learning.
Caroline and Joanna used resources found on the net to investigate Christmas Symbols. Using a link page that was created specially for the lesson the work was further supported by worksheets for the pupils to fill in.
