In this session the students were asked to plan, create and deliver three ICT lessons that would enhance the schemes of work they were teaching. One was to be an existing lesson already planned by the maths department. The other two planned and taught individually.

To meet the requirements of their classes scheme of work Saima and Catherine opted to use Geometer's Sketchpad, a program which allows you to graphically explore shapes. The girls used this program and the interactive whiteboard to enhance their lesson on linking the area of rectangles with factors.
